gf : "I HATE YOU!"
bf : "fine! hate me as much as you can't! i won't bother you anymore!"
gf : "i don't wanna see you again!" *runs away and disappear through the misty rain*
The bf stood in the rain with great despair. After realizing that they had broke-up. The bf walk away, but not to his home, but to a near-by park. He sat on the swing, trying to reminisce what happen that day.
It was somewhere at the bf's neighborhood. The gf went to surprise her bf with a strawberry short-cake that has written Happy Birthday To My SweetHeart, 18-years old. The gf's heart was joyous! "I can't wait to see the surprise face on him! teehehe~", saying while skipping along the road.
The doorbell of the bf's house rang. He sprinted to see who came, in thought maybe her gf was here. The door opened and to his surprise, it wasn't his gf at all. A totally different girl infornt of him. It was his schoolmate, she was younger by one year.
girl : "Hi! he.."
bf : "Err...hi, what are you doing coming to my house alone?", a suspicious tone.
girl : "To celebrate your birthday of course, silly"
bf : "Oh. Then why did you came alone? where's the others?"
girl : "Urmm...err...oh! They're busy! he..."
bf : "Really?"
girl : "Err...hey! aren't you gonna invite me in?"
bf : "Ouhhh...i don't think you should come in. Others will think it's a bad..." without the bf finishing his word, the girls just walked into the bf house.
There was no one in the house that time. The bf was worried people might say bad things later. But, the girl was already inside the house, there's nothing he can do now. I can't ask her to leave now. It'll be rude to do so. The bf thought with a heavy sigh. Then he walked inside his house praying nothing goes wrong. He walked to the living room, but the girl wasn't there. Then he heard some footsteps up stair. Is she in my bedroom? Quickly, he ran up stair and saw the girl eyeing around the room. She saw pictures of the bf with his gf, with despite, she held one of the frame and tried to smash it by making it look like it was an accident. But the bf was quick enough to stop her and ask "What are doing with that picture?", the girl startled and say "Oh! you shock me, thank goodness i din't drop it." Then, she smile, but not sincerely. She continued "Your picture with your gf is so sweet." Not one sincere words coming from her lips.
Then, the bf ask gently for the girl to come down to the living room, where she should had been. The girl refuses, "Awww...do i have to? i like it in here. It has a cozy feeling. Please, let's just celebrate in your bedroom okay?" The bf can't seem to argue with the girl, so he let her be. If not, she'll be making fuss about it at school.
bf : "Okay, okay, but promise me you won't touch anything, okay? you sit there quietly, i'll go fix up something for you"
girl : "Yayyyy! okay! i promise!"
So the bf went down stair to the kitchen. After a while, he went back to his room and put the snacks on the table. The girl was at the veranda. The breeze swoosh the girl's blonde hair. He walked to her calmly, they started to chat and giggles together. The day was a bit breezy and it looked like it was going to rain.
Unluckily, as the gf was about to arrive at the bf house, then, she saw, at the veranda, her bf was touching the girl cheeks. "There's some bread crumbs on your cheeks." said the bf. "Oh, thanks. Hey, i have a present for you. hee~" without hesitation, the girl kissed the bf's cheek and say "I always want to do for a long time!". Shock strikes the bf's entire body, couldn't believe on what just happened. Then, a small sound like a box was dropped outside his house was heard, he quickly look towards the sound. Standing near the box, was the gf, cover her mouth with both hands and was gasping. She didn't wait long enough to watch it and fled away. Running as she might. For some moment, the bf just stood there like a carved wood. Then, when he wanted to sprint to catch his gf, his hand was grabbed. The girl was stopping him. He was baffled. But he push the girl's hand and darted out of his house. Chasing his only one love.
The gf ran carelessly in the rain and stumble into a rock which made her fall. Her knee was scraped. Its sting with the battering rain. But she know she has to run away, she doesn't know where, but just as long far enough from his bf house. While she was struggling to get up. Her bf caught up with her in time. He tried to help her up, but the gf push his hand and gaze with full resentment. He knew, the gf was furious with him.
bf : "I can explain...it was just..."
gf : "I KNOW WHAT HAPPEN."
bf : "but!"
gf : "save it to whom who cares!"
bf : *grabbing the gf shoulder* "Listen to me! It was a mistake! She's the one who kissed me without my permission!"
gf : "Enough! i don't want to listen to it! i've warn you about the girl, and look what happens now! She already KISSED you!"
bf : "It wasn't my fault!"
That's the whole thing on what just happened. It was still vivid to him. He still sat on the swing at the park. Bends a bit and cover his face with his hand. Aching to his heart. What have i done.
Behind a pole's shadow, there was another figure. Watching them with a cruel smile. It was the girl, silently watching them. I have won. He will be mine. The girl wait patiently for the gf had gone. And after the bf was alone in the park, she came to him. To comfort him. The bf was at loss. Didn't know what to do.
The gf always watches her phone. Checking whether there was a call or text. After several days, the bf didn't contacted her. She felt loneliness come to surround her. The pain was stabbing on each part of her remaining heart. She misses him. She wanted to see him so bad, so with all her gut, she went to the bf house. Slowly, step by step close to the doorbell. Her small fingers was shaking. So full of suspense. When she about to rang it, the door was opened. She saw the girl came out from her bf house. Why in earth is she doing here?
girl : "What are you doing here?"
gf : "I should be asking you that."
girl : "Me? Haha, didn't you know, i'm his new gf, of course i'm allowed here."
gf : *gasp* but she remained calm "Don't lie, if i caught you like i'll..."
girl : "You'll what? Hurt me? But i'm telling you the truth, if not, why your so called bf allowing me to stay here?" a face of winning on her face.
The gf bite her cheery lips in angry, fist clenched, wanting to throw a punched at the girl's face. But she stood still, she doesn't want to cause a commotion in the neighborhood. She felt defeated! Hopelessly, she walked away with a resentment in the heart. As her footstep was getting quicker, her eyes was wielding with tears. She can't take it, so she cries as she run.
bf : "Who was at the door?"
girl : "Oh just someone who came to pick up trash. Now, you shouldn't get up from your bed, you're still sick!"
bf : "I'm only allowing you to take care of me just simply because my parents was out of town, so don't be full of yourself. This mess, is still on your debt." throwing a powerful gaze at her.
girl : "Don't be angry with me, it's not me who didn't listen to your explanation, and i've already said sorry right? BTW, if you're mad, you fever is never gonna come down you know. And maybe you'll get a high blood pressure!"
bf : "I don't want to hear you babbling, if you're with anything you are doing now, PLEASE leave my room immediately."
girl : "Alright, alright...you don't have to be grumpy. And i'm going away just because you said please~ wink~"
That girl is annoying, i can't wait to heal up and went to see my gf. The bf never known that the gf had came to his place.
A few days later, the bf was at full recovery. He went straight to the gf house. But soon enough to find out that the gf has already moved. The neighbor told him that the gf has moved to London, to further her studies, and her parent was at Korea on a business occasions. She's gone? His baffled face made the neighbor worried.
bf : "When will she be coming back?"
neighbor : "Well, the daughter said she wasn't coming back home, she wanted to live there. And for the parent, judging by the look of their house, i don't they want to come back here."
Was i too late to seek an apology? Why didn't she tell me about this thing? We've already promised to be together until death do us apart. So many question and thought lingers around his head. Trying to denied what the news he had discovers today. He knelt down, crying in front of the gf house.
Several years had gone by. The gf is matured by her own way in London. She was a successful woman in marketing field. She had manage tones of business deals, and some of them was in cooperation of Malaysia and Japan. She was proud of her self, her pride was also her parents pride. Her parents doesn't want much from her, just for her to be happy.
One day, her parents ask her to go on a blind date.
mum : "It's about time you are getting married, go find yourself a husband dear."
dad : "Your mum is right sweetie, you're about the age to marry. Whatever your choices is, we'll always support you."
gf : "Mum, dad...it isn't that i don't want to get married. I just want to focus on my carrier now. I want to be able to lift the burden of you guys raising me."
dad : "But dear, you've shown us that you are capable. We believe in you, we didn't need a proof to do so."
mum : "That's right, after the broke-up, i know you were not happy. Trust me, we weren't happy to see you like that. Just do what we tell you, This is the only time we ask you for something."
She felt hopeless and just follow her parents request. For a couple of days, after a hustle and bustle of work, she manage to find a time for a self to go on a blind date. But in the end, it's all a waste. None of the men match her heart. After on the last date of the day, she sat a bit long at the cafe. How long was it that i feel free thinking about work? How long was it I just hang out with my friends? And how long was it i came to a cafe? Hurm, all this reminds me of him. Quickly, she remove her thought to her carrier and works that have to be done. Anymore thinking about the past will set her mood down. She soon out of the cafe and went straight to her house.
mum : "How was your date going?"
gf : "It was okay, but i can't decide yet. None of them really attract me. Can i just leave it to you, whomever it is, i'll agree on it."
the mother didn't need to be told twice. She quickly tell her husband about their daughter. "Then, i know just the perfect guy for her. They even has a same interest. It is set then."
The next morning, her dad ask her some of the time to meet her future husband. She did was she'd told. They meet up at a restaurant. When she arrive, her dad waving to call her to the table. To her surprise, the man that sit beside her father was the bf! Shockingly, she ask her dad to explain. "Well, you said the choice was our. So, here is your future husband." said the father. "But dad, we broke-up a long time ago!", argue the daughter. "I know, but for what-so-ever- the reason is, i want you guys to settle it now. No complaining. Or i'll ground you." said the father jokingly. "Thanks uncle, i owe you a lot." said the man. "You can call me dad if you want to." replies the father.
gf : "Having fun?" a deep cold stare at the bf.
bf : "Yes, thank you for caring. haha."
gf : "Ughhhh. I'm outta here."
bf : "Wait! we didn't have lunch together yet. And you didn't gave me a chance to tackle you."
gf : "There's no need for that. If you want to have lunch, you can have one by yourself. I', leaving"
bf : "I'll tell your father that you about the incident on our last year of school."
gf : *recalling what happen that year* "Hey! that was a long time ago! Cheater!"
bf: "Then have it your way." *tapping his fingers on the table.
gf : "FINE, but only this time okay! and promise me that you NEVER tell my dad about it!"
At first, they were just eating lunch together. Then a awkward silent swoop in. And finally, the bf said something to break the awkward moment.
bf : "Hey, i want to talk about that."
gf : "There's nothing left to say. It's already in the past, okay. Let it go."
bf : "No. I won't let it go until i clear up what had happen between us. And i certainly don't want to give up on you." A confident stare at the gf, he was determined.
gf : "Fine. But i assured you. There's nothing gonna make me change my mind."
bf : "I'll bet on my life on that. Let's start when that girl kissed me. It really isn't my fault."
gf : "I know."
bf : "Then why didn't you listen to me the first time?"
gf : "I was mad at you. I've warned you about the girl, yet you still friends with her. That really pissed me off and hurt my pride."
bf : "I'm sorry. I... I didn't know she was like that. I'm so sorry, i really am.
Hearing the earnest apology from the bf, she began to think it is time to forgive and forget. All she want was an apology. And she got what she want. Slowly, the bf continues.
bf : "I've always wondered why didn't you tell me you was moving to here? Did you hate me so much that you think running away will solve everything?"
gf : "At that time, i was really furious. You didn't tell me that you and she was a couple. Seeing her in your house made me think what possibly could you two have done."
bf : "WHAT!? i never! never ever ever was in any relationship with her! She was at my house that day because i had a high fever!"
gf : "Really?! I ought to just punch her at that time. Grr..."
bf : "Is that why you didn't text me for all this year? Mann, if i see that girl again...i...i..."
gf : "I'LL KILL HER. but wait, you had a fever?"
bf : "Yeah, for staying out in the rain too long."
gf : *started to smile* "Fair enough, I scraped my knee, it return you got a fever. He~"
bf : "It's good to see you smile again. I missed your smiles...i missed you."
A gentle touched the both of their heart. A spark lit on. The one that usually they felt a long time ago.
gf : "So...all that's had been cleared. What do we do know?"
bf : "We're on a date right? Let's pretend we just meet! Hi, my name is Kimi. Nice to meet you."
gf : *giggling by the thought of it* "Yo! My name is Ariana! HAHAHA!"
bf : "Hahaha! I LOVE YOU ARIANA."
gf : "I love you too Kimi. Let's get married!"
gf & bf : "hahahaha!"
So the two of them get married after several months and lives happily ever after. :)
